Virtuoso

Ken Rockwell and Laurie Excell have the ability to teach photography to an Equipment Measurbator like myself. Ken had posted an article on how to learn photography. It is an illuminating read to all the equipment measurbators out there. If you are wondering what is equipment measurbator, read this.

I had recently bought, Composition, Snapshots to Great Shots by Laurie Excell, John Batdorff, David Brommer, Rick Rickman and Steve Simon. The book is a very good read and we get to see through the process of making a photograph from experts. Rather than explaining camera settings, the book explains emotions, ideas, some intuitive techniques and general guidelines. None of these require knowledge of how to use a complicated camera. The book conveys the message shared by Ken Rockwell, " Camera doesnot matter". The book conveys that the idea for the photograph is far more important than the camera itself.  I cannot agree more with this statement.
